"Diablo 2 Remake" has no balance changes for the time being, the original experience

 

In an interview with PCGamesN, the senior producer of "Diablo 2: Remake" recently, Chris Lena was asked if there are plans to make balance changes to the game, such as changing the difficulty of the game, loot or other aspects. Lena said that there will be no balance corrections to the "Remake" at this time, and players will have an authentic experience.

 

 

PCGamesN asked whether it will change the relatively disadvantaged professions? Lena said: "We will not make balance adjustments now. Because we want to provide players with an authentic experience. But in the future, maybe we will do something based on player feedback?"

"It depends on the players' expectations for the future of "Diablo 2: Remake". The Vicarious Visions development team has a list of'things to do', but unless the player requests them, these changes will not appear."

Such considerations are meaningful. The development team will spend several years on this game, or will add new expanded content or other paid content. This is really exciting! Of course, the first task of the development team is to provide an authentic experience, but in the future, it may adjust and add new content based on player feedback.

"Diablo 2: Remake" will be released in 2021, landing on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, XSX/S and Switch. The remake will support the archive of the old version.
